Alexa Sparkman is a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist with a M.A. in nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin. A nationally recognized specialist, Alexa has worked more than 35 years with nutrition therapy and behavioral change. While specializing in mindful eating and eating disorders, she is uniquely qualified to counsel people of all ages toward a healthier way of eating, renewed lifestyle and wellness. As a lecturer in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin, she taught nutrition counseling skills to upper-level undergraduates and works as a preceptor with the UT Coordinated Program in Dietetics. In almost 40 years as a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Alexa has held numerous local, state and national positions and has emerged as a respected leader in her field.
Carly Reed Janak is a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist with a B.A. in nutrition from the University of Texas at Austin. She enjoys working with clients to improve their health through diet and behavior modification. Carly specializes in treating eating disorders and believes eating a variety of real food and listening to our bodies' hunger and fullness cues are the keys to success.
